Ketofiti keto course, day 8, start

Keto on an M-Pesa Budget

Keto does not have to be expensive meat and fancy imports. The cheapest keto foods in Kenya are already in the market. Eggs are one of the best value foods you can buy, filling and rich in fat and protein. Sukuma wiki, cabbage, and managu cost little and fill your plate. Omena is cheap, and packed with protein and good fats. Cooking oil, and offal like matumbo or liver, stretch a small budget far. You actually save money by dropping sodas, bread, mandazi, and the daily sugar, so redirect that cash to eggs and greens. Plan a few simple meals and repeat them; buying the same few items in slightly larger amounts often costs less per meal. You do not need supplements or special products. Real, local, whole food is the goal, and it is usually the cheapest option on the stall anyway.

Takeaway. Eggs, sukuma and omena make keto affordable on the tightest budget.
